Terms of Service

Effective date: October 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Heimdall's website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Heimdall.

2. Description of Heimdall

Heimdall researches relevant opportunities on your behalf, prepares personalized outreach drafts, and — after your review and approval — sends that outreach from your connected Gmail account. Heimdall offers a free plan and a paid monthly plan, Heimdall Pro. Heimdall is in early access, so features may change or be improved over time.

3. Eligibility and accurate information

Heimdall is not intended for children under 13. Users under 18 may use Heimdall only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Any person who subscribes to a paid plan must be at least 18 years old or otherwise legally authorized to enter into the transaction. By using Heimdall or subscribing to a paid plan, you represent that these requirements are satisfied.

You agree to provide accurate, current information when using our services and to keep it up to date.

4. User account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at heimdallnetwork@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5. Gmail authorization

If you choose to connect Gmail, you represent that you own the connected email account or are otherwise authorized to connect and use it with Heimdall. By connecting Gmail, you authorize Heimdall to use the gmail.send permission to send outreach messages that have been reviewed and approved for delivery from that account. You remain responsible for communications sent from your connected account. Heimdall's Gmail authorization does not grant Heimdall the ability to read, modify, or delete messages in your inbox. You may revoke this authorization at any time through your Google Account's permissions settings, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Review and approval controls

Outreach drafted on your behalf is subject to review before it is sent. Heimdall does not send outreach from your connected Gmail account without the applicable review and approval steps having been completed.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Heimdall to:

• send spam, harassing, fraudulent, or deceptive communications;
• impersonate any person or organization;
• engage in unlawful discrimination;
• access or connect an email account you do not own or are not authorized to use;
• gain unauthorized access to Heimdall's systems, introduce malware, engage in abusive scraping, or interfere with the operation of the service;
• reverse engineer Heimdall's software or services, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• attempt to discover credentials, internal prompts, automation logic, security controls, or other non-public elements of Heimdall's systems; or
• use Heimdall to violate the terms of any third-party platform or any applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section.

8. Plans and usage limits

Free plan. The free plan lets you chat with Heimdall to plan your job search, up to a daily message limit. It does not include an outreach campaign.

Heimdall Pro. Heimdall Pro is a monthly subscription. Each paid month includes one outreach campaign and a higher daily chat allowance. A campaign means research into relevant people at relevant organizations, personalized outreach drafts based on your background and each person, and delivery of the outreach you approve from your connected Gmail account. An unused monthly campaign does not carry over to the next month.

Usage limits. Both plans have usage limits, shown on your account page. No plan offers unlimited usage. We may adjust limits to keep the service reliable. If we reduce a paid plan's allowances, we'll tell you in advance.

Heimdall does not guarantee replies, interviews, offers, admissions, employment, or any other outcome, exact delivery timing, or that any individual message will be free of delivery issues outside our control.

9. Subscriptions, billing and automatic renewal

Heimdall Pro costs $15.00 per month plus any applicable taxes. It is billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Members who subscribed before the price changed to $15.00 keep their price of $9.99 per month while their subscription stays active.

Your subscription renews automatically every month at the then-current price until you cancel. If the price changes, we'll tell you before the new price applies, and you can cancel before then.

Each successful payment starts a new monthly period and resets your monthly allowances.

If a payment fails, Pro features pause until the payment succeeds. Our payment processor may retry the charge. You can pay the open invoice or cancel from your account page.

10. Cancellation and refunds

Cancel anytime from your account page (Account → Cancel Pro). Cancelling takes effect at the end of your current paid month. You keep Pro until then and won't be charged again. If your last payment failed, cancelling ends Pro right away and stops further payment attempts.

Payments are generally non-refundable, including when a recipient doesn't respond or you don't receive an interview, offer, admission or other outcome. If Heimdall can't provide the material part of a paid month (for example, the month's campaign could not be run), we'll provide a replacement, a credit, or a refund. If an outreach email hard-bounces, we'll provide a replacement eligible contact at no extra charge. Nothing in this section limits rights that can't legally be waived.

11. No guarantee of outcome

Heimdall does not guarantee that outreach will result in a response, interview, offer, admission, or any other particular outcome. Heimdall's commitment is to the quality and diligence of the research and outreach process — the response of any third party is outside our control.

12. Accuracy of user-provided information

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information, résumé, and preferences you provide. Heimdall prepares outreach based on the information you supply and does not independently verify your personal or professional history.

13. Intellectual property

Heimdall's website, branding, and underlying technology are owned by Heimdall or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the information and materials you submit, and you grant Heimdall a license to use them solely to provide the services you request.

14. Third-party services

Heimdall relies on third-party services, including Google and our payment processor, to operate. Your use of those services through Heimdall is also subject to their own terms and policies.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Heimdall if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, misused the service, or created risk or legal exposure for Heimdall or others.

16. Disclaimers

Heimdall is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

17. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heimdall will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, opportunities, or data, arising from your use of the service. Heimdall's total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Heimdall in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Heimdall harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party, including through misuse of a connected Gmail account.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of Heimdall after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
